In supporting details, authors use details to illustrate and explain their main ideas.Major support details are provide support for the main idea of a reading.Minor supporting details are intened to clarify and enhance the major supporting details and are not usually considered as important.Create topic headings and indent subtopics, identifying main ideas, note supporting details below main ideas, use signal words to organize your notes, use symbols and abbreviations.
